What's growing in my community garden plot

I took this photo on May 1, 2026. I'm thrilled by how much ground cover has already appeared! It seems my efforts at spreading clover everywhere are paying off.
I waited as long as I could to start cleaning the garden. I didn't trim anything back last fall, so there was lots of dead growth to chop off (including an 8' tall mammoth sunflower!). Towards the middle of the plot, Monarda didyma 'Panorama Red Bee Balm' has been happily creeping since I first planted it in 2024.
Concluding the first year
My first year with a garden exceeded my expectations in every possible way. By this point I had completely fallen in love with the hobby. The colors, the smells, the small changes each time I visit the plot... I truly wish I could spend every day here.
